The Clark County 4H Fair is another fun event with lots of carnival rides, carnival games, livestock judging contests, tractor pulls, music events, craft and local business vendors, all kids of judging tents (i.e. photography, art, cooking, plants & baking) along with many animals to pet, often local police, fire & rescue are there to inform the public and let the little ones play on the firetrucks. More than the usual 100 uses for Skin So Soft, You're Mamma said WHAT?!

We've heard secrets from the past where granny always claimed that the original formula Skin So Soft body oil and lotion kept away mosquitoes, gnats, and helped your third cousin's eczema and his wife's secret to her athletes foot infection (that was NOT on her feet...).
Well, the talk is true and there actually is some science behind it.

• Isoproplyl Palmitate: a derivative of Palmitic acid which naturally occurs in allspice  anise, forms 40% of cows milk.
• Jojoba Oil: used for centuries as a moisturizer. Here is a picture of the plant.

Palmitic acid derived ingredients appear to be the linking ingredient between Avon's Bug Guard and Skin So Soft, which is in anise and allspice which we know from cooking these pungent ingredients in a pumpkin pie or love or  hate the taste or smell of black licorice, we know anise is very aromatic.
